💙💛🎼Five Chassell Township Schools band students had the honor of participating in Junior Honors Band at Northern Michigan University this past Saturday after being nominated for their outstanding musicianship.
The day was filled with rehearsals led by exceptional directors, including Tim Oliver from the University of Mississippi. Students learned four new pieces that were showcased in a wonderful evening concert. They also enjoyed some sunshine and team-building fun with a mini duck/kazoo hunt!
We are so proud of these students for representing Chassell so well! 💙💛🎵

Our 6th Grade Farm & Food class got hands-on this week learning all about the benefits of fresh salads! Then they put their knowledge to the test by creating their very own!
From crunchy veggies to colorful toppings, students explored how salads can be both nutritious and delicious. They practiced making healthy choices, learned about different ingredients, and had a blast building their own custom creations.
We’re growing more than just food—we’re growing lifelong healthy habits here at CTS! 💚🥬

If you can’t attend in person, a virtual link will be posted in the comments closer to meeting time. 🙂

The "Brains" Behind the Build
Before the bolts, comes the math! 📐 Our team is hard at work transforming curiosity into engineering capability. Designing a robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition requires precision, problem-solving, and plenty of whiteboard space.
This is where the next generation of Chassell’s leaders learn to navigate an automated world with grit and expertise. 🧠🦾
