Lesson Plans |

May is a busy month. We planted our marigolds, made the brownies, and decorated the potted plants to give to our senior friends at our service learning day at the Trinity Lutheran Church. It was a spectacular day where each student read his or her story that was published. Also with Mrs. Alvord, the class sang some fun country songs and played their recorders. Mrs Perfetti played the guitar to accompany the students.
We are finishing our national park reports and the power point to go with each. Mrs. Tervo's class has been helping the class to make the park come alive. We also are making color poems and a collage.
We are studying the rocks and land formations and the ocean. Karl Bohnak will be here to talk about the weather.
In math, we are studying adding and subtracting fractions. We will be moving into decimals.
In reading, we are studying about famous Timeless Stories such as Lou Gehrig.
In social studies, we are in the south central states. All fifty states will be tested by filling in a map correctly.
