Tricia Tervo teaches mathematics, physics, the Finnish language, life skills, computers, and multimedia. She attended Michigan Technological University, where she majored in mathematics and minored in physics. She also graduated from Northern Michigan University with a master’s degree in mathematics education.
Mrs. Tervo teaches because she believes that young people are our most precious resource. It is rewarding to have the opportunity to impact their lives, to be impacted by their lives, and to see them develop as people. It is exciting to work in a school, realizing that each student has the potential to make the world a better place.
Mrs. Tervo encourages students to embrace the belief that each of us is personally responsible for our attitude, our education, our choices, and our happiness in life.
