Mr. Hanke grew up in Ripley, MI., and graduated from Hancock Public Schools in 1977. For 9 years Mr. Hanke worked in the Automotive Industry as a Technician and Sales Representative. In the spring of 1989 he graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Technology Education. In the spring of 2007 Mr. Hanke received a Physical Education and Health minor from Eastern Oregon University. Mr. Hanke started teaching at Chassell Township Schools in the fall of 1989.
Mr. Hanke and his wife currently reside in East Grosse Pointe Shores with their son, Wade. He has a great interest in outdoor sports such as hunting, fishing, and boating. Every year he holds a hunting contest for the students to see who can get the biggest buck. Some of his hobbies include automobiles, surfing the net, and sports. His favorite team is none other than the Green Bay Packers.
Mr. Hanke teaches K-6 Elementary PE, Junior High PE, High School PE, Drafting, CAD, Small Engine Repair, and Consumer Automotive. |
